About StreamForge Player
StreamForge Player is a browser-based utility for testing HLS, MPEG-DASH, and M3U playlist playback. It is intended for developers, streaming engineers, educators, and lawful users who need a convenient way to verify manifests and inspect playlists.
The service does not host streams, publish channels, provide television programming, sell subscriptions, or represent that any third-party URL is authorized. Users provide their own URLs or local playlist files. All responsibility for rights, licenses, permissions, and access to media remains with the user who enters or loads that media.
What the tool is for
- Testing streams that you own, operate, license, or have express permission to inspect.
- Learning how HLS and MPEG-DASH manifests behave in a browser player.
- Checking local M3U or M3U8 playlist files for basic organization and playback troubleshooting.
- Demonstrating adaptive streaming concepts in educational or authorized technical settings.
Responsible use
Our goal is to make adaptive streaming easier to understand and troubleshoot while encouraging lawful use. StreamForge Player does not grant permission to view, copy, decrypt, redistribute, or bypass access controls for any content. If you believe the website is being referenced in connection with unauthorized content, please use the contact page to report the issue with enough detail for review.
